The third eye is located in between the eyebrows in the middle of the forehead. This chakra is strongly linked to insight and intuition, it influences your ability to invite new realities into your life, connect to your higher self, gain insights, wisdom and dream up possibilities and potentials. As we move up the body this is the sixth chakra and each one gets more spiritual and closer to our connection to the universe.
Think of the third eye as the eye of the soul. This chakra is strongly linked to our vision, perception, sense of subtleties as well as psychic abilities, connection & mysticism.

Colour: Dark blue/purple or indigo
Key characteristics: Intuition, insight, truth, wisdom and imagination
Signs of imbalance: feeling stuck, unable to find solutions to problems to gain insight, not having a clear vision for the future, losing touch with reality, unwilling to look within, illusions, spiritual arrogance, headaches, not seeing clearly, rejection of anything spiritual or too enthralled in the spiritual world but not in the physical world enough.
Signs of balance: clarity of thought and vision, spiritual contemplation, open minded, self reflexion, willingness to explore and learn, intuitive, self awareness, visualization, higher wisdom, discernment, imagination & creativity, feeling interconnected.
